This project is located in Manhattan Apartment, Medan, Indonesia. PA Home provided a complete custom interior solution covering the bedroom, kitchen and living area, walk-in closet, bathroom vanity, and additional storage cabinets.
The design uses warm wood grain, dark grey finishes, glass elements, marble-look surfaces, and integrated lighting to create a modern, organized, and comfortable apartment interior. Each area is customized to improve storage capacity, daily functionality, and the overall visual style of the home.
Bedroom Area
The bedroom area of the Medan Manhattan Apartment project focuses on comfort, storage, and modern visual balance. A warm wood-grain finish is used throughout the bedroom cabinetry, creating a calm and natural atmosphere while matching the apartment’s contemporary interior style.
The TV wall is designed as a full-height custom cabinet system, combining closed storage, display space, and a recessed TV area. This layout keeps the bedroom clean and organized while maximizing the wall space.
Beside the window, a compact desk and low storage cabinet create a practical work or study corner. The large window brings in natural light, making the room feel brighter and more open.
The bedroom also includes a full-height glass-door wardrobe with black frames and built-in lighting. The transparent cabinet doors create a premium display effect, while internal shelves, hanging areas, and drawers provide organized storage for clothing and accessories.
Overall, this bedroom design combines sleeping, storage, display, and working functions in one space, making it both elegant and highly practical for apartment living.
Kitchen & Living Area
The kitchen and living area of the Medan Manhattan Apartment project is designed with a clean, modern, and highly functional layout. The open-plan arrangement connects cooking, dining, and relaxing areas, making the apartment feel more spacious and practical for daily living.
The kitchen features a compact L-shaped cabinet layout with a light wood-grain finish and dark accent panels. Marble-look countertops and backsplash add a refined touch, while under-cabinet lighting improves visibility and creates a warm atmosphere. Built-in appliances, a tall refrigerator cabinet, upper storage, open display sections, and smooth drawers help keep the kitchen organized and efficient.
The dining area is integrated with the kitchen island and table, allowing the space to serve multiple purposes, from daily meals to casual work or entertaining guests. The combination of wood texture, stone surfaces, and dark details gives the area a modern apartment feel.
In the living room, a minimalist floating TV cabinet is paired with a textured feature wall. The long low cabinet provides hidden storage while keeping the space visually light and uncluttered. Soft lighting and neutral colors help create a comfortable living environment that matches the overall design of the apartment.
Walk-in Closet & Bathroom Area
The walk-in closet and bathroom area is designed to combine storage efficiency, daily convenience, and a refined modern look. Dark cabinet finishes, warm wood flooring, integrated lighting, and mirror details create a practical yet elegant transition space between the bedroom and bathroom.
The walk-in closet features an open cabinet layout with hanging sections, shelving, drawers, and dedicated storage compartments. Built-in LED lighting improves visibility and gives the closet a more premium display effect. The layout is planned to make clothing, accessories, and daily essentials easy to organize and access.
A full-height mirror is integrated into the dressing area, adding both function and visual depth. The combination of open storage, drawer units, and illuminated shelves makes the space suitable for daily dressing and personal organization.
The bathroom continues the modern design language with marble-look wall tiles, glass shower partitions, black hardware, and a floating bathroom vanity. The vanity combines wood grain doors, stone-look countertops, and open storage space, offering both practicality and a clean visual style.
Together, the walk-in closet and bathroom create a well-organized private area that supports storage, dressing, washing, and relaxation within a compact apartment layout.
Additional Cabinetry & Storage
In addition to the main bedroom, kitchen, living room, closet, and bathroom areas, this project also includes several customized cabinet solutions designed for daily storage and flexible use.
A tall wood-grain storage cabinet is placed in the corner area, offering concealed storage while maintaining a clean and consistent interior style. The open middle section adds a small display or temporary placement area, making the cabinet both practical and decorative.
The project also includes compact desks and drawer units designed for work, study, or dressing functions. These pieces use a combination of wood-grain surfaces, grey drawer fronts, and black metal legs, creating a simple modern look while providing useful storage for small items.
In the bedroom area, a custom desk is integrated behind the bed partition, forming a semi-private work zone without taking up extra room. Together with the window-side low cabinet, these details improve space efficiency and make the apartment more comfortable for daily living.
Overall, these additional cabinets help connect different functional zones, providing more storage, better organization, and a cohesive modern design throughout the apartment.
